Meet Darvinya

From breakdown to breakthrough:
This work began with my own healing.

Years ago, I was pursuing my Master's in International Relations at NYU, driven by a passion for conflict resolution and making the world a better place. On paper, my life was perfect; graduation was approaching, the world was at my feet.

Inside, I was quietly falling apart. Chronic depression. Panic attacks. Then came a breakdown that led to hospitalization and two months in a rehabilitation facility. That rock bottom became my turning point.

Before the facility, I was on a slate of medications. They helped, but I couldn't accept the narrative that depression and anxiety were lifelong diseases I'd have to manage forever. That refusal to settle became the catalyst for everything that followed.

I started with Reiki, an energy healing technique that made me feel better for the first time in years. I was captivated. How was this possible? I dove deeper: inner child work to heal the wounds I'd buried from a childhood marked by alcoholism and dysfunction. Ancestral trauma work to release the pain passed down through my lineage. Somatic practices. Systemic therapy. And perhaps most transformatively, learning to communicate in ways that actually heal.

One anxiety-free day turned into weeks, then months, then years. My life didn't just improve — it transformed entirely.

Today, I guide others through that same journey: from confusion to clarity, from inherited pain to embodied peace. I don't just teach these methods. I lived them first as a client, and I continue to practice them daily.

I know what it's like to feel stuck in a story that isn't yours. I also know we're always just one moment away from transformation.

You don't need to stay where you are. There's always another way and I'd be honored to walk it with you.

Values

Honesty

At the Kaizen Collective, we value honesty because it is our secrets that keep us stuck. We realize honesty is like an onion. There are many layers to being honest.

And through our work we value the process of peeling off new layers. For us, honesty is not just about telling the truth, Rather it is about be true to ourselves and showing up authentically regardless of the  circumstances.

Openness

At the Kaizen Collective, we recognize that if the problem is outside the box, most likely the solution is too.

We believe that being open to trying new things and receiving solutions from unsuspecting sources is the difference between a happy life and a turbulent one.

Willingness to Change

While change can be uncomfortable at times, growth happens outside the comfort zone. We believe that being willing to change is a quintessential step to transformation.
